Eidos Interactive Ltd, creators of some of the world's leading video game properties, today announced Looney
Tunes: Cartoon Conductor, a rhythm action game that puts you in charge of an orchestra that conducts the music
to your favorite Looney Tunes cartoons. Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor, licensed from Warner Bros. Interactive
Entertainment, will debut in June 2008 for Nintendo DS.
Players unleash musical abilities using the DS stylus to conduct the orchestra like a maestro and compose
the music to classic Looney Tunes cartoon scenes featuring infamous characters such as Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig,
Daffy Duck, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety. Once the famous scenes are successfully recreated, gamers will be
rewarded with clips from favorite Looney Tunes cartoon moments.
"This is a game for absolutely everybody who enjoys simple but addictive gameplay," said Richard Lassiter,
Brand Manager for Eidos. "The DS is the perfect console for this type of pick-up-and-play game, and Looney
Tunes: Cartoon Conductor is the best way to relive those classic Looney Tunes moments."
Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor, developed by Amaze Entertainment, will be available in June 2008
STORY
A Rhythm-Action game like no other, Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor puts the player in the role
of the conductor who must tap, drag and swipe in time with the music to ensure the music and the
cartoon scenes are carried out hitch free.
In your role as musical conductor, attempt to keep time for an orchestra featuring beloved Looney
Tunes characters and interpretations of famous music featured throughout the show. Visual cues on
the top screen of the DS will help you keep your stylus strokes on the touch screen in time with
the music. As the musical numbers progress, humorous events unfold which will challenge your ability
to keep in step and properly direct the orchestra members. If you mis-time a stroke, the orchestras
performance will suffer. If the quality of the performance declines too much, the characters wont
be able to perform their scenes correctly and problems with the set may occur. Your future as a famous
conductor will be finished!!
